Design can make a difference. We've seen it happen many times before—turning heads, building businesses, making things look, feel and work better. We decided to make practice of that theory one more time, in support of the Mississippi River Fund and the National Park that graces 72 miles of the beautiful river banks running through Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Our campaign began September 17, with an event to kick off an art sale. It was a glorious fall evening—the kind that reminds Minnesotans of why we live here. The celebration took place in the historical Mill City Museum. And we had the pleasure of hosting both Mayor Chris Coleman of St. Paul and Mayor R.T. Rybak of Minneapolis as guests on a long list of many prominent business partners, friends and family members.
Proceeds from the inaugural evening of our sale boasted over $15,000. We hope that this is just the beginning of an outpouring of support for this cause.
We invite you to read on and learn more about the art that was inspired by the river, the designers behind each of the limited edition screen prints, and how you can contribute with the purchase of a print among many other ways. Thank you to everyone who joined us that evening and for all who continue to support us in this effort.
